Jensen interceptor – Interception tour

Motorik is a techno party dedicated to bringing you the underside of the underground.

‘FUN WITH TECHNO’

Motorik is actually really coming to The Bowler Bar, as part of our tour to launch the new Jensen Interceptor EP. If you don’t know what Motorik is, you’ve probably been hiding under a rock, or you just haven’t been on the internet, or listening to dance music, or something.

Born in an abandoned club space deep below a skyscraper in Sydney, Motorik has been tearing warehouses, nightclubs and afterhours parties apart for the last little bit. They’ve started a record labe

l, whose releases have been downloaded illegally worldwide and also loved by rad dudes like Brodinski, Tiga, Simian Mobile Disco and a few (okay, lots of) other total legends of the making bodies move to loud music game. When they’re not being titans of industry, they’re busy making the world a better place to live/rave/party in.

The executive council at Motorik consists of visionary businessmen The Finger Prince (aka Gus Da Hoodrat and Crank Xavier of Infusion), CSMNT61 (3/4 of The Lost Valentinos) and Vivi (currently missing, last seen alive at Berghain), whose blend of bouncy techno, fun techno, techno for babes, funktechno, electrotechno and just plain old techno has feverishly gripped the world. It’s cray, man. Real cray.

This party, though, is about one man. A man who was formerly one half of Light Year, and is now branching out on his own, with a new EP on Motorik! in September called Interception: JENSEN INTERCEPTOR. He is the new wave. He’s a little bit west-coast rap and a lot of slammin’ party jams. He’s going to make you sweat. Feel it.

Joining them on the long and treacherous journey to The Bowler Bar are freshly-legal youth-techno prodigy-duo Mikron, who are being let out of their house for long enough to showcase the serious vibe that saw them get signed to Gesaffelstein and The Hacker’s legendary label Zone.

TECHNO: LOTS
FUN: MUCH
BRISBANE: LET’S DO THIS
