MTK014 JENSEN INTERCEPTOR – SYSTEM ADDICT
New heat from the most prolific collaborator in the Motorik! family to date – Jensen Interceptor. On System Addict, Interceptor has teamed up with another MTK founder, Francis Xavier, to produce a slab of stripped-back machine-funk that is packed full of that tweaked-out driving groove that you have come expect from the cleanest man in techno. It’s so clean… in a sticky, stanky way that is hard to wash off. Flip the switch and let the worm into your sister’s attic.
On the flip, Interceptor delivers a piece of conceptual, propulsive, techno. Alkaline has been turning the MTK dancefloor into an autobahn since he first sent us the dusty, unmixed demo. Stay locked for the analogue melt down at around the 6 minute mark- rumour has it, he poured a bag of K into an Arp Odyssey and just hit the record button. Incredibly legit.
Oh yeah, the REMIXES… BNR’s SCNTST delivers those pumping, Berlin warehouse vibes. This one will bring on your second high, while scaring your little sister. It’s one of them choons.
