This is a record about nature, about space, about time, about how the world interacts with itself digitally and physically. It’s clubby, it’s dubby and even a little wubby. There are field recordings, big synths, smalls synths, a bit of nature and a bit of spoken word. It’s hard to find the balance between weird and clubby and here we have Astro riding the line with precision.

Bird and Planet is an opener like no other, a track with a slick groove and a kookaburra on feature. Made for the club, made for the bush and made for a little mind dimension. This was the first track we heard from Astro and we forced the pen in his hand to sign it to MTK right there.

Then we’ve got Intel, for when the foil starts to run thin and the CIA starts to come for you. But hold up, this turns out to be a club track that seriously burns. There is an LFO which churns like a real 90s track, heads down stuff right here.

Wedged in the middle is Polybones, an apt title for the bad boi. These drums slam so hard your bones might shatter. And last in the clubverse is 316, a tight little number, mad hats, mad nature, phat kick. Need I say more? This EP even has a real life closer, Giant Interstellar Molecular Cloud (GIML) a personal work full of meaning for the artist. Not for the club, close your eyes and let GIML enter your life.
