Found in the forests of Wollongong his sound conveys nature, the universe and the third dimension. Producing since has was a wee lad, he’s taken his influences from everything around him. You’ll find a strong emphasis on the fabric between the consciousness and reality here: art, philosophy, space, peace, the human condition, you name it he’s got it.

Astro’s form of techno is sprinkled with metaphysics and nature; from birds tweaking, to trees bristling finding its way to brains melting. It’s techno, but not. It strays far and wide incorporating a palate of sounds unknown to the genre. Yvng Astro makes music to find yourself and lose yourself to at the same time, to play in a club and play in the bush.
